Here is a link to my website Mr. Yancer's Kindergarten. I created a page for use in my classroom this year. It is a work in progress. My first page is my welcome page. I also created a page About Mr. Yancer and a page where I will upload my newsletters (I included links to previous newsletters as an example).

Concept Map

In our reading curriculum we do a theme called "Colors All Around". I would use this concept map as part of an introduction into the new theme. We would start by brainstorming the colors of the rainbow that we know. We would then branch off into other names of colors that belong to the same 'family' of colors. Introducing new color language would be an important part of this lesson.
