Searching for educational podcasts, I found the "
60 Second Science" podcasts from Scientific American to be interesting. Scholastic included this podcast in an article "
10 Podcasts for Teachers and Kids". The podcasts cover a variety of topics from "Eye Movements Do Not Reveal Lying" to "Stand Up Now to Stick Around Later". The podcasts are audio only, but quick, entertaining, and informational. The subject matter is a bit above the level I teach, but it would be great for upper elementary, middle, or high school students.
